Role


We are currently seeking to hire an Events Marketing Assistant to join our marketing department to assist in the delivery of the events and marketing programme for our key sectors and Functions.

The role is varied and encompasses the end-to-end management of a comprehensive events programme and a variety of BTL and ATL marketing campaigns, sponsorship activation and content marketing.

We ideally need you to have the following:



·  Experience assisting in the delivery of a comprehensive events programme, including client roundtables, breakfast briefings, seminars and conferences
·  Ability to assist in the implementation of medium-long term proactive marketing campaigns
·  Experience of imbedding digital in the overall marketing mix to achieve greater client engagement is preferred but not essential
·  Experience of CRM and email marketing platforms is preferred but not essential
·  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and respond to the needs of internal stakeholders
·  Minimum of one to two years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within a professional services or corporate environment;
·  Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, an open and confident communicator, able to question to understand as well as present views succinctly.
Your work will be varied. Below will be some of your core responsibilities:



·  Assisting in the implementation of an annual marketing strategy and plan, ensuring any activities are managed through a consistent and tightly budgeted process;
·  Assisting with the implementing a large scale events programme, ensuring KPMG's high standards are adhered to at all times;
·  Developing and issuing a variety of email marketing campaigns, with a key focus on continuous improvement;
·  Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in designated sectors and/or functions;
·  Delivering qualitative and quantitative results on marketing initiatives to inform future marketing strategy;
·  Protection and enhancement of the KPMG brand and core KPMG values;
·  Demonstrating innovation and creativity in events management and sponsorship activation;
·  Collaboration with internal teams including Creative Services, Communications and IT
·  Proactively acquiring industry and service line knowledge to enable quality of service to the business

Marketing activities including client briefings, sponsorship activation, client entertainment, thought leadership, digital marketing, advertising, PR and other aspects of the marketing mix to leverage greater value from our investment.
