The Technology Solutions and Innovation team within KPMG Information Technology Services is dedicated to creating and delivering value to our business by leveraging on IT technology. The team is responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high quality IT services internally to enable our business.

In this position, you will drive software development improvements using DevOps practices and procedures. As a member of the agile project team, you will be working with various stakeholders (Agile Project Manager, in-house developer, IT Business Analyst, off-shore development team) to design and implement solutions in alignment with project strategies and business objectives.

In the course of work, you will be required to:

• Work closely with developers to analyse and enhance current software practices, by instituting DevOps practices. Define future guidelines, procedures, and related processes for Operational functions, including necessary system set ups.
• Collaborate on ways to advance concepts such as Continuous Testing, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Integration into our various software development initiatives
• Develop models to report on issues/bugs and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, and other Agile teams to resolve these issues.
• Ensure all cross functional Agile teams' requirements are aligned so that efforts are synchronised in the delivery of software solutions to internal stakeholders.
• Provide functional/Agile team's inputs to various work streams based on requirements
• Design systems and programs to meet complex business needs. This includes the preparation of detailed specifications on coded & developed programs, and ensuring that the quality of developed programs meets the technical requirements & specifications accordingly.
• Gather information from existing systems, assess timeline and manpower requirements for project.
• Conducts quality assurance activities such as code reviews

Requirements:

• Degree in Business or IT preferred
• Minimum 2 to 4 years' of experiences in a business analyst role or in an equivalent management consulting capacity
• Proficiency in areas like jQuery, Angular/TypeScript, .NET programming, CI/CD (Jenkins/VSTS) and Microservices
• Knowledge and working experience with Cloud, AI Automation, Big Data technologies would be advantageous
• Possess strong analytical ability, with good documentation and project management skills. Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, effective decision-making capabilities and good problem solving abilities.
• Is meticulous, and able to work well in a team as well as independently Any prior experience in Business Process Management projects and/or Agile Software Delivery will be advantageous
