Our nationally leading Research and Development (R&D) and Government Incentives practice has over 30 years' experience in assisting companies access their R&D Incentives and Grants. Our R&D and Government Incentives team helps Australian companies to grow their business in Australia and international markets by accessing government incentives and providing practical advice on innovation and commercialisation.

Your new role

Working alongside experienced managers within our multi-disciplinary R&D and Government Incentives team, you will be part of a team providing innovative and strategic advice to our clients around their ability to access various government incentives to support their R&D pipeline, innovation and commercialisation, and growth strategies. You will gain exposure to some of the most innovative companies in Australia, giving you exposure to exciting expansion projects and innovation activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:
·  Assist the team to develop and provide practical advice, information and services to Australian businesses pursuing government incentives and global growth
·  Work with the team to identify relevant policy and government initiatives for our broad client base
·  Reviewing government policy and work with managers to advise clients on its relevance to their business
·  Communicating proactively with clients and team members regarding project status and client service opportunities.
·  Preparing various government incentive applications, with a key focus on R&D tax incentive applications
·  Identifying business development opportunities

You bring to the role

This role would suit a recent graduate or an experienced hire with 1 to 2 years with a previous employer.

The ideal candidate will have:
·  A strong interest in government, industry and international business activities
·  Excellent writing skills with a well-developed capability to write to a wide variety of audiences
·  A degree in science, engineering, or computer science
·  Creative and innovative thinking skills with a strong complex problem solving ability
·  Excellent communication skills and an ability to identify growth and sales opportunities
·  Some previous experience in government incentives, including R&D tax, is desirable, but not essential What we offer you
