Job description

The main responsibility of this position is to support/assist the Operational Key Account Manager in daily operational and Data Quality topics. This includes monitoring and supporting KN offices with export and import shipments executing, identify and avoid the potential risks, resolve any irregularities to ensure that shipments are handled as per customers' requirements and KN operational excellence guidelines.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Support Operational Key Account Manager for customer operational and Data Quality topics
·  Support the implementation process of onboarding a new customer
·  Ensure smooth flow of shipment info between KN CSR Team (CL Control Tower) and KN BU's (Air/ Sea / Road divisions)
·  Monitor Daily Shipment Reports (DSR) of customer's shipment status and proactively update customers / KN CSR Team on a daily basis
·  Have regular implementations meetings / weekly Conference calls / Action Trackers in place
·  Implement the SOP's / Monitoring reports / Rate cards etc
·  Monitor Shipment Status with carriers / KN Origin and Destination offices
·  Resolve and escalate any irregularities with carriers / KN Origin and Destination offices for immediate action
·  Provide weekly customer performance report to external and internal stakeholders
·  Update and Maintain MOP / SOP / CP.
·  Support Customer Reporting (new requirements on existing reports such as KPI report, Data Quality, Shipment Visibility reports etc)
·  Monitor Invoice Creation for Customers. Resolve any issues immediately with Finance / Operations/AR
·  Update content on Customers Wiki pages (contact list, destination requirements etc)
·  Ensure customer's shipment information + documents are available and accurate in KN systems
·  In case of emergency/requirement act as a backup for the OKAM

Your skills and experience

·  The ideal candidate has a college degree in relevant field, masters degree would be a plus
·  Prior experience in Air Logistics of minimum 2 years would be considered an advantage
·  3 -4 years of Basic Freight Forwarding Knowledge (Air / Sea / Road)
·  UAE Market Knowledge & Process
·  Knowledge of Excel & PPTs
·  Fluent written and verbal communication in English is mandatory, knowledge of Arabic is a plus
·  UAE Driving License can be an added advantage
·  Cooperation and teamwork ability is really important for this role as well as ambitious and result
