Are you a university student with a logistics background with the objective to gain valuable working experience within a leading global logistics company? Then we have what you are looking for! We are recruiting an Intern in our Sales and Marketing team to support the Corporate KN BatteryChain team at our Global Headquarter in Schindellegi (CH).

YOUR ROLE

Our internship experience is rich with hands-on learning. You will live, work, and experience the cross-functional disciplines in which Kuehne + Nagel operates, while building on-the-job skills. Interns are expected to deliver results against our business and supply chain objectives, applying knowledge and practices both independently and as a team. Working with a supervisor or mentor, you will gain work experience while interacting with key technologies, subject matter experts and leaders. The purpose of the Intern program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry-level roles for immediate and future needs. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Participation in the weekly KN BatteryChain team meetings consisting of seven staff with five nationalities
·  Provide administrational support to the Corporate KN BatteryChain team such as updating guidelines and working instructions and sales collateral
·  Support countries with KN BatteryChain roll out activities in cooperation with the Business Units Air, Sea, Overland and Contract Logistics and the Functional Unit QSHE
·  Monitor and evaluate the sales pipeline
·  Further develop the KN BatteryChain sales training program for key account managers from around the world in cooperation with our Global Sales Training Team
·  Support fairs and event participation such as Automotive Logistics Conferences or The Battery Show in cooperation with our Marketing Team
·  Take ownership of the KN BatteryChain Community on MyKN, the internal cooperation and collaboration platformother duties as assigned

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

·  Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business/economics, management or relevant field
·  Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required
·  Candidate must be able to work full time (42.5 hours per week) during the duration of the internship
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
·  Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
·  Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, deal with ambiguity, make trade-off decisions, meet deadlines and drive for results
·  Experience in successfully working in teams with the ability to contribute and provide value

DURATION

The duration of the internship should be at least 6, but preferable 9 months.
