Class 2 HGV Driver

We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 driver to work at one of our East Midlands sites, if you are looking to join one of the world's leading logistic companies and want a role that offers career development then this could be the ideal role for you

Your Role

Reporting to the Transport Service Manager, the main purpose of the Driver is to deliver and collect freight in a professional manner.

Your Responsibilities

·  To complete daily vehicle checks before going out onto the public highway.
·  To report defects following the KN process
·  To deliver and collect freight reporting any discrepancies at the time they are happening
·  To ensure your digital tachograph card is down loaded daily or when you return to KN Nottingham
·  Class 1 drivers will be prepared to night out as required by the business
·  To attend training days as required by the business - these will be towards the 35 hours over 5 years driver CPC
·  Will drive any vehicle that your licence allows

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Valid Cat C HGV Drivers licence
·  Valid Full CPC (if expiring in 2022 or before must have at least 14 hours in bank)
·  Professional
·  Courteous
·  Smart appearance
·  Good communication skills
·  Will drive any vehicle that you are licenced to if needed
·  ADR desirable
·  Experience of multidrop preferable
