Class 1 HGV Driver

Job description

We are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 driver to work at one of our East Midlands sites, if you are looking to join one of the world's leading logistic companies and want a role that offers career development then this could be the ideal role for you

Your Role

The main purpose of the Driver is to deliver and collect freight in a professional manner.

Your Responsibilities

·  To complete daily vehicle checks before going out onto the public highway.
·  To report defects following the KN process
·  To deliver and collect freight reporting any discrepancies at the time they are happening
·  To ensure your digital tachograph card is down loaded daily or when you return to KN Nottingham
·  Class 1 drivers will be prepared to night out as required by the business
·  To attend training days as required by the business - these will be towards the 35 hours over 5 years driver CPC
·  Will drive any vehicle that your licence allows

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Valid HGV Drivers licence
·  Professional
·  Courteous
·  Smart appearance
·  Good communication skills
·  Will drive any vehicle that you are licenced to 
·  ADR desirable
