Role Mission



As retail merchandiser, he / she will be responsible for organizing the DOS activities for the buying process, the master orders, and for strictly monitoring the Watch business, in order to optimize the balance between assortment and stock and to maximize sales growth across regions in the retail channel.

Key Accountabilities:

Market intelligence

· Elaborate and consolidate inputs coming from regions on business trend in the retail channel Buying activities
· Contribute to master order activities and key assortments by region to ensure a balanced global product mix
· Actively participate to reviews of the buying process by region for the retail channel
· Prepare relevant buying tools for regional buyers and GMM
· Participate and contribute to the presentation of the collection to all presidents, GMM, buyers and other company's shareholders
· Monitor the buying process by region to exploit opportunities by market and evaluate possible style openings to be discussed with design team
· Interface with GGW internal services for product allocations to DOS Sales activities and business analysis
· Monitor and prepare weekly and monthly sales reports by channel and implement related actions with the Regions in order to improve the results.
· Closely monitor the deliveries in cooperation with GGW forecast and planning team
· Work with VM Team to create and implement seasonal Visual Merchandising Guidelines and follow up with Regions for correct implementation
· Analyse selling trends and highlights actions for GRID purposes Inventory activities
· Strictly manage the DOS inventory in order to optimize stock level across region/channels and maximize sales
· Monitor month of supply and slow movers
· Analyse selling trends and highlights actions to regions/channels on reorders and cancellations

Qualifications :

Key Requirements

·  Strong product sensitivity in watches category
·  Fluent in Italian and English
·  Successful studies in business management, majoring in business administration or marketing
·  At least 3 years of experience in retail merchandising
·  Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
·  Analytical capabilities and numeric aptitude
·  Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
·  Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
·  Highly committed to Gucci brand and strong passion for Merchandising
·  Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business
·  Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
·  Ability to understand current market and consumer trends
