Role in summary:

To help manage and optimise the Art team’s output, across all projects. Working closely with the Project Managers, the Studio Manager will forecast creative staffing needs, manage resource for all projects and the creative workflow process. They will act as the link between the Marketing Operations division and the Art team.

Key responsibilities:

·  Works closely with Marketing Operations team to collate all brief requests and requirements, from all areas of the business, with the ability to interrogate a brief single-handedly. Acts as the central contact point for all other departments
·  Resource planning to maximise creative capacity
·  Prioritise projects according to importance and resource needed
·  Offers solutions to staffing issues
·  Helps to forward plan resource effectively throughout the year, based on brand activity and in accordance with the overarching marketing calendar
·  Monitors projects and workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly
·  Flags potential issues and blockers with the project management team in a timely manner
·  Prepare and collate weekly project updates for the Creative Operations Manager to review with the Creative Director
·  Build a strong, trusting relationship with the Art team to understand skill-sets, capabilities
·  Attend weekly meetings to discuss workload, resource and priorities
·  Understand different project types and assign the correct process to each type
·  Build relationship with internal production team
·  Facilitate creative briefing into copy & Art team
·  Booking and management of freelancers across the team as required
·  Ad Hoc activities as required.

Skills / competencies:

·  Demonstrable experience working with creative teams throughout the entire project life-cycle, from inception/briefing, through to final delivery
·  Managing competing priorities at a high level
·  Risk management with regards to projects, requests, and regional requests
·  Managing expectations with the project management team
·  Ability to have an ‘eye’ over a large volume workload
·  Strong understanding of 360 integrated creative work, with good knowledge of all channels, including (but not limited to); social media, OOH, digital, web, campaign & production
·  Confidence and charisma to be able to have healthy conversation relating to projects.
·  Being able to track a large volume of work and provide timely updates when required by members of the team
·  A proactive approach to work, being able to be flexible with tasks based on the needs of the business
·  Project optimism in the face of challenges and busy periods.
·  3 to 6 years experience
·  Bilingual with English
·  Based full time in Milan
