Your Responsibilities

 

As a Settlement Auditor for John Deere Financial (JDF) in Johnston, Iowa, you will oversee incoming data flow from dealers and review settlement information for completeness. In addition, you will:

 

·  Audit dealer settlements based on the published guidelines and policies
·  Audit used equipment finance transactions to ensure guidelines are met
·  Review documentation for credits, including floor plans, retail notes and leases and incentive bonuses and rentals
·  Follow-up on discrepancies identified in the settlement processes and various reports

What Skills You Need

 

·  Experience in customer service or in a business-related field working with external customers and/or dealers
·  Proven ability to build strong working relationships and focus on the needs of the customer and dealer
·  Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
·  Positively deal with changes and demonstrate high personal work standards
·  Experience utilizing attention to detail to review data/documents for accuracy and completion
·  Experience with written and verbal communications
·  Experience working with multiple products, systems and processes

 

What Makes You Stand Out

 

·  Experience using various computer applications/programs
·  Experience using Microsoft Office applications
·  One or more years’ experience working in the finance industry
·  Wholesale dealer auditing experience
·  Experience handling incoming phone calls with emphasis on customer service type calls

 

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

·  Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent work experience
