Primary Location: Mexico (MX)  - Coahuila (MX-COA)  - Torreon 

Function: Information Technology

Main Responsibilities:

·  Translating business requirements from user stories and acceptance criteria into working software.
·  Break down and estimate work into deliverable units.
·  Writing unit tests to ensure team code is working as intended.
·  Support team developed code and applications.
·  Provide consultation to the team regarding logical functioning of code.
·  Help the team to provide technical guidance for new developers.
·  Help the development team to create standards and make sure new developers in the team adhere to those.
·  Provide on-boarding to new developers in the team as needed. Create application documentation as needed.
·  Travel availability up to 10%

 

What Skills You Need:

·  1-2 + years of experience developing software.
·  Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to translate business needs into working code and software.
·  Excellent understanding of Object Oriented coding principles.
·  Excellent understanding of design patterns.
·  Excellent Understanding of .net frameworks and versions.
·  Excellent understanding of database, network, servers and how they relate to software applications.
·  Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle.
·  Strong ability to query and manipulate data in Oracle and SQL databases.
·  Good understanding of unit testing.
·  Good understanding of Application security, authentication/authorization methods and security best practices.
·  Good writing and spoken English skills required to be successful in the position (Requires frequent interaction with US team members).
·  Good Understanding of java frameworks.
·  General knowledge of windows and Linux server OS environments.
·  Experience with web apps and IIS web servers.
·  Experience with C#
·  Knowledge of PLSQL and TSQL.

 

What Makes You Stand Out:

·  Prior experience working on an Agile scrum team.
·  Prior experience working using Test Driven Development methodologies.
·  Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
·  Prior experience/ good understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.

 

Education (or equivalent experience): Degree in Computer Science or related field.

 

This position is currently eligible for a telework and/or compressed workweek arrangement at the present time.  The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes, and remains subject to change.
