Your Responsibilities

 

As an Engineer for the Product Engineering Center, located in Waterloo, IA you will analyze and drive the design of tractor systems and sub-systems for worldwide tractors. In addition, you will:

 

·  Perform vehicle dynamics MBD (Multi Body Dynamics) analysis
·  Analyze soil-tire-track interaction
·  Perform suspension kinematics analysis
·  Perform 1-D drivetrain and hydraulic analysis
·  Perform system and component optimization to drive optimum designs

What Skills You Need

 

·  Advanced experience with dynamics and numerical integration
·  Extensive use of computers to solve complex numerical problems
·  Engineering laboratory experience
·  Advanced experience with dynamic model integration
 

 

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

 

·  Programming experience with the following languages, Fortran, C++, Python, or R
·  Experience with some or all of the following major dynamics codes: Siemens SimCenter Motion, LMS Virtual.Lab, MSC.ADAMS, MSC.EASY5, Matlab/Simulink, LMS AMESim
·  Experience using CREO 
·  Experience working with UNIX or LINUX operating systems
 

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

 

·  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
·  Advanced degree in Engineering
