Job description



We are looking for an Occupancy Planning Analyst for our Global Occupancy Planning Team

We are seeking an Occupancy Planning Analyst to assist our Global Team. As an Occupancy Planning Analyst on our team, you will perform strategic planning analysis, reporting and interpretation of occupancy planning metrics to assist in the development of executable strategies to improve real estate performance and meet their strategic business priorities.

What this job involves:

You will have the opportunity to exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve complex business problems and communicate your findings. You will work regionally independent and collaboratively with a global team on project deliverables which will vary according to clients’ needs. You will prepare and update reports on actual seat demand versus projected seat demand at the building level and regularly update any supply/demand changes. While specific deliverables will vary, our Occupancy Planners have broad skills needed to tackle a wide variety of initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

To be successful in this role, you should be agile and have strong ability to foster critical relationships between various teams; you will help our team successfully support clear communication channels with:

Global Real Estate Strategy and Transaction Team to review and resolve planning forecast requirements, concerns and issues; engage and report on real estate portfolio optimization, and merger/acquisition strategy

Global Workplace Solutions Team to review, analyse and report on alternative workplace strategy/flexible space strategies’ impact to supply and demand;

Regional Space Planning Team to gather individual business unit requirements for seat sharing and occupancy needs;

Corporate Finance and Recruiting to gather top-down headcount and growth projections;

Project management to review planning strategies that drive construction projects and support implementation of these projects;

• Other members of the global occupancy planning team to ensure alignment of the global portfolio strategy reporting and recommendations;

Required Skills:
 

·  A Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Project Management, or related field
·  Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in corporate environment
·  Proficiency in Excel, and PowerPoint; or comparable in Google Suite; You’ll be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (pivot table, vlook-up, cell calculations).
·  Real Estate or Consulting Experience
·  Well-developed verbal, communication, and presentation Skills
·  Highly Organized
·  Client Service
·  Innovative
·  Previous experience in occupancy planning at a strategic level and CAFM systems is highly desirable.
