Job Description – HR Business Partner Corporate Solutions EMEA

Role summary:

As a critical member of the HR team, you will ensure the interpretation, alignment and execution of the People Strategy and deliver and promote best practice and operational excellence of HR across the business. You will oversee the accountability of the HR function for your business area/s, be an advocate for the wider function and leverage COEs and HR Business Services teams to meet strategic HR needs of the business, including but not limited to leading on Transformation, Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition Strategy, Employee Value Proposition, Reward, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.

What this job involves:

·  Develop and execute a comprehensive People Strategy, with a focus on diversity, and ensure alignment with the regional HR Leadership and broader JLL vision, including its current and long-term global and local business objectives
·  Understand the business and priorities of business leadership and management team, including the business strategy, P&L, and key initiatives that drive the bottom line. Provide assistance with business planning, articulate insights to business leaders about HR risks and implications of key business activities, and provide commercially sound solutions to support the business objectives
·  Serve as a key contributor to the executive team, forging strong relationships with senior executives, providing leadership and management coaching as required. Communicate with a high level of impact and strong influencing and collaborating skills
·  Use industry trends, best practices, benchmarks and proven models to anticipate and diagnose the impact of external environment and macro trends to inform decisions related to setting strategy, policy and practice, and business initiatives
·  Assess the organization’s capability to deliver on business strategies and plans and helps design the optimal organization to deliver the business strategy
·  Support the growth strategy, including M&A, of the business by providing expertise during bid, acquisition, and restructuring
·  Partner with Talent and Rewards CoEs to define the talent and reward strategies to help drive business performance and growth through effective talent management, performance, engagement and reward plans, with a focus on developing diverse talent across all levels in anticipation of current and future business needs.
·  Ensuring the talent sourcing strategy provides a pipeline of high-quality candidates to the business
·  Support the Employee Relations CoE by triaging and investigating high risk / Tier 3 employee relations issues
·  Communicate a clear, accurate understanding of HR analytics (e.g., global engagement survey, succession bench metrics, turnover, demographics) to the business and provides insights and strategic direction on how to use them to grow the business, deliver results and drive continuous HR improvement
·  Advocate and support the use of the full suite of HR service offerings, acting as role model and facilitator to ensure business areas adhere to, and HR deliver to agreed service offerings. 
·  Support the wider HR leadership team on transformation projects of varying scope.
·  Balance business needs, company requirements, and protect the interests of the organization while advocating for employee interests, in service of creating a culture where employees and leaders reflect and live our JLL Values (Ethics, Teamwork and Excellence)Flawless execution and delivery of value-added HR services to the region, including but not limited to:  manager coaching, training and development, on boarding, talent programs/assessments (calibrations, talent review, etc.), succession planning, and resourcing.

Skills & Competencies

·  Demonstrated experience as a dynamic HR Leader with strong people management, relationship building, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
·  A track record and reputation as a trusted advisor and someone who can influence business leaders and the strategic direction of the organization
·  Proven track record of running a fast paced HR function, demonstrating strong HR leadership on a country or large Business Line scale, and the ability to implement a People Strategy
·  Experience working side by side with leadership on an Executive Committee, and/or embedded in the business serving in a broad HR role
·  Strong analytics, business, and financial acumen (e.g., understand P&L and impacts of financial statements on business operations)
·  Strong commercial acumen, a client focus and be able to support the organization to drive new business
·  Deep project and change management skills, with the ability to act as a change agent and enable the business to manage through change
·  Experience leading and participating in large scale HR and organizational transformations
·  Learning agility, adaptability, flexibility of approach, comfortable with ambiguity, and the ability to up skill quickly
·  Ability to lead, coach and advise leadership to empower employees and builds high-performing teams
·  Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise, with a risk and compliance mindset
·  Experience working with union populations (preferred)

Experience:

·  Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in Human Resources
·  Minimum 3 - 5 years working in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Business Partner role
·  Bachelor’s degree with a major/minor or emphasis in HR or other relevant field is required
·  Professional qualification and/or advanced degree (Masters or above) is preferredHR Qualification (CIPD or equivalent).
·  Knowledge of EMEA legislation and HR best practice.
·  Extensive exposure to talent programmes/training and development and project management.
·  Strong analytical abilities
·  Ability to build partnerships at all levels 
·  Ability to coach and influence senior management
·  Professional and polished
·  Ability to work within a matrix/cross functional environment
·  Ability to perform as a trusted advisor
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively deliver presentations to large audiences
·  Fluency in English
·  Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products
