Job Description

The Functional Safety Engineer - Process is responsible for contributing to internal processes supporting their circulation too and for supporting proactively the Functional Safety Manager in his duties of definition and coordination of the functional safety activities during the product development phases, i.e. the product development at the system, hardware or software level.

In particular, He/She is responsible for

-Contributing to the definition of the standardize practices, methodology and templates necessary for Functional Safety and their circulation among different parts of the organization.

-Supporting development teams to embed methods & collaterals/artefacts generation necessary for the Functional Safety as part of the IP/SOC development lifecycles.

-Contributing/reviewing the main safety related workproducts e.g. safety plan, gaps analysis, safety case expected for the the activities to be done in the development.

-Supporting the Functional Safety Manager for the certification activities, when required.

To apply on this position you need to have:
- Master degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering or equivalent- At least 2 years of experience or equivalent in microelectronic field, preferred SoC and IP design and/or verification/validation- Consolidated and proven experience with quality management systems and applicable international standards e.g. ISO 9001 ISO TS 16949- Appreciated knowledge of Functional Safety Standards, like IEC61508 and/or ISO26262- Ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly and persuasively to peers, management and customers
