You are a permanent business partner for a number of departments in the store. You support them in learning & development and recruitment & selection, answer their HR-related questions and ensure that the HR strategy and routines are followed.
You report to the HR manager and have the ambition and the potential to succeed the HR manager in due course.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

· You identify the training and recruitment needs together with the department managers.
· You are responsible for putting the selection procedures into effect and ensuring that they are followed by the managers. In doing so you guarantee a high-quality, transparent selection process. You monitor the relevant KPIs for R&S.
· You plan and organise training sessions, gather feedback to guarantee the agreed quality and monitor the relevant KPIs for learning & development.
· You help develop the competences needed in the store and, together with the department managers, you are responsible for identifying and monitoring talented people in-house as part of succession planning.
· You coach, advise and support managers in HR processes to strengthen their leadership skills.
· You support and advise co-workers and managers with HR-related questions and always give them the information they need in accordance with the local guidelines, procedures and Belgian social laws. YOUR PROFILE

· You have some years' experience in professional leadership and like working with people.
· You are confident in various fields and able to work with various partners. You are a reliable colleague and coach.
· You are a proven problem-solver and able to take decisions in a fast-changing environment.
· You communicate in an assured, clear and empathetic way.
· You are passionate about people and believe that everyone has potential.
· You have a proven experience as talent management
· You constantly challenge your colleagues and yourself to exceed the expectations of our customers and optimise how we work.
· You are interested in interior design and decoration and people's daily home life.
· The IKEA values give you energy and reflect your own values.
· You are modest, open and honest in your dealings with others.
· You speak and write the regional languages of the store (French and Dutch) as well as English.
· You are happy to take a day off during the week to work Saturdays.
