We currently have a rare opportunity for a Café & Retail Supervisor to join the team on island for this exciting journey working in the resort’s Hamptons-style retail hub and casual daytime eatery, Grove Boutique & Café. A mecca of luxury retail brands, souvenirs, holiday essentials and relaxed food & beverage environment.

Your day to day

If you'd like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we'd like to welcome you to the world's most international luxury hotel brand as the Café & Retail Supervisor, a key role in our team focussed on bringing to life the islands boutique café and retail space and adding an additional unique experience to the guest journey on island. A pivotal role in making the space not just a store but a destination, not just products but mementos of memories made.

 

An experienced customer service professional with a strong background in retail, this role will allow you the scope to sell, and influence the stock, across a range of products and services to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience. Working in partnership with the Café & Retail Manager, you will also serve the café offering that will complement the space and create an environment where yourself and the team interact with guests and build relationships.

What we need from you

As the ideal candidate you will have ongoing experience within the retail industry with 2-3 years in a leadership role. Experience in stock management and a passion for creating personalised experiences will be a given, exposure to a hotel or resort environment will be a plus. You will have demonstrated capability in influencing a stores environment partnered with proven ability to deliver on set targets.

 

The desire and ability to explore new ways of working and an open mind around how we can drive the Resort forward and deliver unrivalled guest journeys will be highly advantageous.  Flexibility to work a varied roster including, late evenings, weekends and public holidays in order to support the operation alongside holding Australian work rights is also a must.
