At InterContinental Perth City Centre, we are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. If you want to professionally grow, then this is the opportunity you've been waiting for!

 

Your day to day

This is an administrative role, and key to the success is your ability to partner with the Leadership Team throughout the hotel to support the implementation of HR initiatives that enhance business effectiveness and colleague engagement.  Your ability to impact and influence will be critical to supporting the people agenda and proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

·  Partner with Managers to co-ordinate efficient recruitment of frontline roles
·  Ensuring new and current colleagues are compliant (eg: valid working rights, RSA's etc)
·  Co-ordinate and host new starter orientation/on-boarding
·  All data entry into the HRIS system, including new hires
·  Conduct site inspections for schools, colleges and universities 
·  Answering Colleague and Manager inquiries regarding payroll
·  Provide advise and coaching to Leaders on hotel policy, performance management and employee relations matters
·  Administration including employee files, employee correspondence
·  Co-ordinating annual Colleague Events
·  Support with Workers Compensation claims and return to work plans

·  Tertiary studies in Human Resources, Training or related field is preferred, and Hotel / Hospitality experience is an advantage. 
·  You must also meet the legal requirements to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions.
