Your day to day

JOB OVERVIEW

 

The Rest Easy Attendant brings the EVEN Hotel’s brand component of “rest easy” to life, ensuring guests satisfaction by making sure that the guest rooms, which include an in-room training zone with fitness accessories, are cleaned in a timely and thorough manner.  The Rest Easy Attendant leaves “clean messaging” in our guest rooms – a cleaning check-list and cleaning cue cards, which are placed in high cleanliness sensitive areas after each cleaning.  This important role may also assist in laundry services and guest requested deliveries.

         DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

FINANCIAL RETURNS:

·  Cleans and services assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning/sanitizing room refrigerator, bathrooms and in-room training zone and fitness accessories removing trash, cups, recycling, etc.
·  Assist in laundry services as required by property.
·  Notifies supervisor promptly when service is complete so rooms may be sold or occupied.
·  Reports any room unable to be serviced to supervisor according to established procedures.
·  Monitors and controls supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
·  Reports, turns in, and/or logs all lost and found items according to established procedures.
·  Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.

G UEST EXPERIENCE:

 

·  Responds promptly and efficiently to guests’ requests.
·  Responds to guest complaints and ensures corrective action is taken promptly to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
·  Shares own wellness journey with colleagues and guests.
·  Remains current on brand, wellness, nutrition and industry information required to deliver the EVEN Hotels programs and services.

 

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:

 

·  Maintains Green Engage initiatives in assigned work area such as newspaper and other items for recycling.
·  Reports to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions promptly. Communicates and collaborates with other departments to provide and receive insight about guest needs, requests, and complaints.
What we need from you

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

 

·  Basic reading, writing, and math skills  
·  Housekeeping experience
·  Ability to speak English
·  Flexible work schedule
·  Demonstrated recent and regular participation in wellness, nutrition, sports, fitness or similar activities a plus

            

Other:

·  Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and colleagues
·  Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when reading assignments and completing checklists
·  May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

·  Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds and pushing and or pulling items up to 300 pounds
·  Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
·  Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility
·  Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling,
