Your day to day
Join us as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Holiday Inn Sydney Airport. You'll be responsible for supervising and inspecting the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimum service is provided to hotel guests. You will assist with scheduling and room assignments to ensure proper coverage while ensuring all staff are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective duties. Additionally, you'll ensure compliance with all health, safety, or other requirements and focus on the effective supervision of Colleagues. You may also perform all housekeeping duties including making beds, and cleaning guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction.
What we need from you
- Must have a minimum 1 years experience in a Supervisory or team lead role, within a hotel or serviced apartment of similar size & complexity.- Have experience with hotel PMS system and performing the task of room allocations.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.- Available to work across a 7-day variable roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.- Ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items, pushing and/or pulling, frequently standing up and moving about the hotel and frequently bending, stooping and kneeling.
