UX Designer – Cloud Storage Team – Cloud Infrastructure

Project Team mission statement:
IBM Cloud Object Storage is poised to become the linchpin for Data on IBM's Cloud by serving as a data lake, customer data ingress point & connection to analytics via SQLquery & Watson Data Platform. The Cloud Infrastructure Design team is seeking a UX Designer to join our Cloud Object Storage team to help define the future of Storage on IBM's Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities include:
• Create user experiences that solve complex problems while delighting our users
• Work closely with Offering Management & Engineering to champion design at every step
• Proven ability to design and iterate on products in collaboration with stakeholders
• Participate in user research to uncover user needs and distill data into meaningful insights
• Be an essential player in all areas of the project lifecycle and be prepared to engage new technologies in support of defined strategies and initiatives.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  An online portfolio showing a mix of software UX/UI design experience
·  At least 2 years experience in software design or related area, with evidence of increasing levels of responsibility.
