The IBM Software Lab in Rome is looking for a technically gifted, innovative and enthusiastic Software Engineer for an internship program within a Development team in the area of IBM Security located in Rome. The selected candidate will work in a team environment together with other IBM SW Engineers and under the assistance of IBM tutors throughout the internship completion for a period of between 3 and 6 months.
Responsibilities of this role include:
Development of prototypes & Test Automation for IBM products using Rome Lab Methodology
Working with IBM team members to help define and implement the required capabilities
Being responsible for all aspects of the assigned tasks
Requirements of this role include:
knowledge of front-end and back-end application development using the most common design patterns
knowledge of most common DB Management Systems
knowledge of obiect-oriented programming languages: Java (required), C++ (bonus)
knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: REST API, Javascript, HTML, CSS, across multiple browsers
