Job description
Expert Architects lead multi disciplined teams on complex architecture & design engagements to define solutions to address client business problems and are accountable for delivering value to clients and IBM. They apply deep technology and domain or industry expertise, architecture & design methods and cognitive approaches to analyze requirements and design innovative solutions. They establish milestones, quality targets, assign to and manage the work of others. They possess strong communication skills, are able to articulate the impact and business benefits of their solutions while managing stakeholder expectations. They contribute intellectual capital assets.
They must possess knowledge of major cloud technologies and service providers, including virtualization, containers, servers, storage, networking, IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure and Red Hat and have experience of guiding clients in defining and adopting architectural decisions across these technologies and platforms. Such experience must also include designing and documenting detailed and implementable architectures on those platforms utilizing established modular reference architectures.
Additional knowledge or experience in the areas of IT and/or cloud technology strategy, capacity planning, service management and/or resiliency services is a plus
