Open Technology Development Engineer for IBM Z focus on the technical development to promote the integration between IBM Z and the Open World (non-Z platform (x86) & Open Source) such as Bring IBM Z to Cloud, Opening IBM Z service to x86 world, Developing and applying Devops with Open Source technology for IBM Z. The candidate is required to be familiar with the open source development, have the work experience and mastered the K8s software stack (Docker, K8s, Istio, Helm, Prometheus, Ansible). It's a good plus if the candidate have some knowledge and experience of IBM Z.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Technical Skills:
·  Mastered K8s software stack (Docker, K8s, Istio, Helm, Prometheus)
·  Mastered Ansible development
·  Had experience to develop and apply Devops technology
·  Had experience in RestAPI development
·  Understood Cloud and Cloud native very well
·  Have Computer Science education background
·  Mastered in C, GO, Python programming languages
·  Architectural Skill
·  IBM Z technology

Non-technical Skills:
·  Understood and identified with IBM culture
·  Good communication with China and Foreign employees
·  Good Speaking and Writing skill in English
