Unser Linux Team ist verantwortlich für die Weiterentwicklung und Wartung des kompletten Betriebsystem-Stacks aus Kernel, Geräte-Treibern, Bibliotheken, Werkzeugen, Compiler, Debugger und Virtualisierung (KVM). Wir arbeiten eng im Verbund mit den internationalen Entwicklungsteams der IBM, den Maintainern der Open Source Community und den Linux Distributoren.
Unser Fokus liegt auf der Unterstützung der IBM Z/LinuxONE Hardware-Plattform. Linux auf IBM Z/LinuxOne ist die Basis für kommerzielle Lösungen im Bereich Cloud, Container, AI und Analytics.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Sie haben mindestens 4 Jahre Erfahrung in Betriebssystementwicklung und systemnaher Programmierung (z.B. in C, Assembler)
- Sie haben schon zu Open Source Projekten beigetragen
- Sie haben mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in Linux
- Sie haben Erfahrung in der Planung/Entwicklung/Konzipierung umfassender Lösungen
- Sie haben Erfahrung in der Umsetzung wichtiger Entwicklungs- und Kundenprojekte mit fachübergreifenden Aufgabenstellungen
- Sie sind hochmotiviert
- Sie können in deutsch und englisch sicher kommunizieren
