Job description

This position resides in Toronto, Ontario (185 Spadina) and is a 4 month (co-op) work term commencing May 2020 . It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

Co-op offering management position working within the Data and AI team. This team supports GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance products) within IBM. This role will work with other Offering Managers (OM) who support the following offerings: IBM OpenPages and IBM FIRST.
This is not a developer role.

The role will help with supporting upcoming releases (involving taking requirements and breaking them down in functional work that needs to be completed by our development organization. This may involve gathering customer feedback, gathering internal feedback and reviewing market needs to help support upcoming releases.

Ideally, this person will have an ability to review info from a variety of sources and distill them into functional requirements. It also requires an ability to document these needs. Needs to be fluent in MS Office. Also needs to be comfortable working with team/collaboration based tools such as Zenhub, Slack and Webex as the team is distributed and some meetings may not be face to face.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
·  Assist product management with business analysis for new product release including the writing of requirements that will be used by developers to create feature updates in our software
·  Assist with creating documentation, test scripts, and/or run books
·  Aggregation of surveys or other client feedback to be incorporated into functional design for product releases
·  Experience with JSON, Zenhub or other similar tools
·  Experience using MS Office, Slack, Webex
·  Some development experience might be useful but not required
·  Other duties and responsibilities as required
