Internship/Praktikum: IBM Watson IoT Industry Lab - 3D Designer

Job description

Experience fast paced collaborative working with a highly talented group of professionals at IBM innovation hub in Munich!
We currently have an opportunity available for Visual FX /3d animation designer. Candidates should be current students or recent graduates looking for practical training and experience.
Most projects will involve creating 3D models & rendering of product concepts & environments and animation. Candidates must have a range of creativity, perspective and flexibility in design concepts and deliverables. Attention to detail and the ability to work as a team member are essential.

Key responsibilities:
• Create 3D models and renders of product concepts and/or environments
• Craft animations to visualise product usage in its environment
• Work with our current staff to provide 3rd dimension for product visualisation

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
• Excellent 3D visualisation and modelling skills backed by an outstanding portfolio of work
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Max / equivalent modelling and rendering packages
• Sound understanding of augmented reality and virtual reality technology
• Can communicate in English
