Job Responsibilities [MSOffice1]

Working Time:
·  Service Coverage : 9 hours * 5 days (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM JST)
·  Weekday midnight/weekend/holiday work* : 0-4 times/months * Fundamentally, should work as IBM-Japan working calendar and working time.

Work items:
Support the rhythm work defined by GDF for TC-MF DM pool. After the transition, regularly revalidate the activities with Japan team and Shenzhen team.

Base activities : DB/DC
·  Support product: DB2 for z/OS, CICS, IMS and those related products
·  Support Disaster Recovery tests if the services are included in the contract.
·  Coordinate and/or perform installation, maintenance and upgrades of current, licensed DBDC system software.
·  Apply maintenance to correct outstanding problems in supported products.
·  Coordinate the diagnosis and resolution of DBDC system software problems as appropriate. This service includes researching, identifying, implementing and testing DBDC system software fixes on a timely basis. Problems and/or dumps deemed to be the result of application code will be turned over to the appropriate AD/M group for resolution.
·  Confirm that the subsystems/regions that DBDC supports meet applicable security policies.
·  Provide required support for hardware, operating system, and related program products upgrades.
·  Implement DBDC subsystem parameters and definitions affecting performance, capacity and usability.
·  Participate in the problem/change process.
·  Support approved DBDC system decommissioning activities. Apply maintenance to correct outstanding problems in supported products.
Base activities : Database management (Physical DBA)
·  Support product: DB2 for z/OS, IMS
·  Create Physical Database
·  Execute creation of physical database objects (e.g., DDL, DBD, ACB, files, etc.)
·  Comply with customer and IBM Security Standards
·  Setup and retain exclusive use of DBMS System Administration ID & privileges (exclusively performed by Subsystem support team)
·  Manage database availability and resources
·  Manage database space (allocated and used)
·  Perform database support using agreed upon product/tool
·  Monitor physical DBMS for performance and capacity requirements
·  Use agreed to problem and change management processes and tools
·  Execute physical database changes in support of major application or logical database design changes
Base activities : Middleware Software Support
·  Support Product : Websprher MQ
·  Install, configure and integrate Middleware products
·  Undertake end to end, cross platform, Middleware infrastructure problem identification and analysis
·  Perform root cause analysis of defects identified
·  Apply appropriate permanent fixes, patches and maintenance
·  Maintain appropriate Middleware systems documentation
·  Apply application required configuration changes
·  Perform ‘housekeeping' log file rotation, pruning, and archiving
·  Conduct security compliance activities as per customer-IBM agreed security policies
Base activities : Websphere MQ
·  Define and maintain WMQ application objects
·  Configure WMQ subsystem and system resources
·  Manage active logs, archived MQ logs, and other systems datasets
·  Support the system Dead Letter Queue (DLQ) and system DLQ Handler
·  Determine channel settings (SSLCIPH, SSLPEER, SSLCAUTH) to use

Job Requirements (skills/experiences) [MSOffice2]

·  Operating skill of z/OS servers .
·  Understanding of basic configuration items like parameter tuning.
·  Understanding of basic MW and applications.
·  Understanding of ITCS104/GSD331/ISec
·  Skills to understand and carry out the whole procedure written in Japanese. •Japanese and English language (good in reading/writing)
•Lotus Notes operation skills (end-user level)
•Basic operation skills of Microsoft Office (Excel).
•Basic knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP
