Business Unit Introduction:

Established in 1996, the IBM Systems Lab is headquartered in India's Silicon Valley and startup hub - Bengaluru, with a strong presence in Pune and Hyderabad. Developers at IBM Systems deliver technology innovations across the entire Systems portfolio - z Systems, Power / OpenPOWER Systems and Storage. The team here works across the entire stack from processor design, firmware, operating system to software defined storage. The lab also focuses on innovations, thanks to the creative energies of the teams.

Who you are:

You will deliver hybrid cloud infrastructure for IBM clients leveraging the differentiating capabilities of IBM platforms.

What you'll do:

As a Cloud Integration and Verification Engineering Professional, the person is expected to

·  Interface with development teams to accelerate software integration, communicating and following up on resolution of issues and problems
·  Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
·  Validate Linux kernel modules and virtualization components, including QEMU and libvirt
·  Collaborate with the Open Source Community and IBM partners
·  Diagnose and fix functional, performance and scalability problems in kernel components
·  Develop, automate and run functional tests.
