We are seeking individuals with proven business acumen and those that possess a blend of general business and technology strategy skills. In this role, the consultant is responsible for the selling and solutioning of CIO and Cloud Advisory engagements.

Responsibilities of this role include the following:
·  As the AWS cloud subject matter expert, you will work with solution teams to develop solution offerings and perform the lead solution architect role for new business opportunities and proposals. You will develop reference deployment architectures and provide guidance across network, storage, operating systems, virtualization, RDBMS & NoSQL databases.
·  You will act as the subject matter and demonstrate your expertise, IBM’s capabilities and solutions to internal and external clients in formal and informal demonstration situations. You will be responsible for connecting technology and business value in the solutions that you develop. You will be an AWS evangelist responsible for educating customers and client teams on the benefits of using the AWS platform.
·  You will participate and lead architectural discussions with customers as you build new cloud applications and help customers migrate applications and services to the AWS platform. You will help our customers adopt continuous integration and deployment technologies and processes using technologies like Chef, Puppet and Ansible.
·  You will help customers build web & mobile applications using technologies that include MySQL, AWS Aurora, Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres, Amazon DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Cassandra. You should be familiar with and deep in several scripting and programming languages including Python, Ruby, Java and JavaScript.
·  You will work across client, IBM onshore and offshore teams to build effective delivery of solutions the align to the customers’ business goals

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  10+ years of overall relevant IT experience
·  3+ years demonstrated experience on the AWS platform
·  At least 2 years experience leading one or more of the following areas of a Cloud transformation journey: strategy, design (architecture migration planning, implementation, and organizational change management.
·  At least 5 years experience in delivering technology transformation projects
·  At least 5 years experience documenting and presenting recommendations to clients and/or stakeholders
·  Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
