Job description
This position belongs to IBM Global Financing (IGF) Worldwide (WW) Information Warehouse (IW) Support Team in CIO Services in Transformation and Operations Domain.
Our Customers are the business analysts of IGF IW Support Team, IGF IW Information System and Sales Enablement Teams and Cognos Development Team.
Main purpose of the job
The primary purpose of this job is the development of the Information Warehouse of IBM Global Financing and support of the daily operations of IGF WW IW.
Responsibilities
· Development and administration of IBM business data warehouse;
· Design, test and implementation of database containing information about securities;
· Taking part in customer projects;
· Major activities are database administration, job planning and control of production workflow, support in space and performance problems, data integration and ETL application development and maintenance (DataStage);
· Dealing with development of enhanced technical solutions for data transfer from different system environments (e.g.: AIX, AS/400, Host, etc.);
· Database design, creation of releases;
· Support in case of production problems and performance problems;
· Testing (functional and performance) in development IGF IW (fixes and packages);
· Support for system tests
· Support Portfolio IW and IGF Volumes
· Taking care of IGF WW IW knowledge base, i.e. updating of FAQs, documenting IGF ETL applications, and measure IGF IW Support team's knowledge, propose training, consultations or any changes if it is necessary;
· Education of ETL Tools.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· Min. 2 years' experience at IT support/development field (in mainframe environment)
· English: fluent
· Knowledge in general IT systems and architecture field;
· Preferred programing languages skills, COBOL, PL/1
· Operation systems skills: MVS, Windows, AIX, AS/400, Host
· InfoSphere DataStage skills preferred but not essential
· Database: DB2
· Other skills: zOS, SQL, JCL, OPC
