API/Integration Developer

As an IBM Application Developer, you'll use the latest tools and technologies.. You'll be responsible to implement various integrations between ITSM tools, automation engines or between microservices of more complex solutions. That includes to ensure that applications/integrations are expertly designed, tested, debugged, verified, and ready for integration into IBM's best-of-breed solutions that help organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

· Understanding of Web services (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON…)
· Knowledge of scripting languages (preferably JavaScript)
· Basic orientation in networking
· Communicative knowledge of English
· Stress resistance, delivery on time
· Carries out assigned tasks and actively and independently solves potential issues and problems related to the tasks
· Analytical skills, team player

Nice-to-have areas:

· SQL, NoSQL databases
· Python or JAVA programming
· Single Sign-On authorisation, OAuth
· Docker/Kubernetes, OpenWhisk
· Experience with IBM Cloud, API connect, Apache Kafka/MQ
· Experience with DevOps (GitHub, Travis)
· Orientation in ITIL processes
· French speaker

Preferred Education:

University education (at least Bachelor's degree)
