2020 ADL Summer Internship - Gold Coast

We have a number of exciting Summer internships with our Australian Development Lab (ADL). Completing an Internship at IBM will give you practical, on-the-job experience, and great exposure to a global corporate environment. We have an Australia wide Intern Network, providing opportunities to get to know your peers, meet executives and participate in social events.

The IBM Australia Development Laboratory (ADL) is a network of innovation hubs tasked with developing, expanding and supporting IBM's software portfolio for IBM clients locally and globally.
Whether leading or contributing to product design, servicing or support, we deliver new value for IBM clients on a wide range of business use cases and industry challenges. We always maintain strong relationships with our clients and as a result, their needs and requirements are always central to the software solutions we develop and support.
The best thing - this internship offers is the opportunity to work alongside leading security software development and test professionals who will help prepare you with the skills your require to hit the ground running in your chosen career path.
What you'll do - you will work in small to moderate size teams developing software solutions for enterprise level real world customers. You should expect to be writing code for both test and product development, as well as being involved in Agile development design and construction activities. You will become members of well-practiced, tight-knit teams.
We are looking skills in the following areas:
·  C/C++
·  Java/Java Script
·  Some knowledge of software testing practices
·  Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good interpersonal and problem solving skills, as well as being a team player.

Start Date: Dec 2019
Duration: 3 months Full Time
Location: Gold Coast

Area of Study Preferred:
-Software Engineering / Software Test
To be eligible to apply:
- You will be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen
- You will be enrolled in a relevant degree at a University in Australia (undergrad/Master's level)
- You will be a strong academic performer with a minimum of a credit average
- You will have no more than 2 years full-time relevant work experience
