Job description

Detailed Job Description:
· Technology: Windows systems management (SCCM)
· Experience: 3 years plus relevant IT skills.
· Skills & Attributes: Technical specialist
· Have strong experience of supporting Windows OS, Software development, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), Adaptiva, hardware, SQL, Storage and network technologies (at least 3 of these). SCCM skills mandatory.
· Lead SCCM infrastructure upgrades, configuration, support and maintenance. Take lead to drive other teams for new initiatives related to SCCM.
· Proactively plan and manage the upgrade of SCCM servers and SCCM clients.
· Monitor SCCM and Adaptiva services and client healthiness. Troubleshooting advanced SCCM related issues.
· Provide 24 x7 support on SCCM service following a global rota and follow-the-sun support.
· Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for SCCM infrastructure.
· Adhere to internal process to support the service, including change management, and incident management policy.
· Lead and manage the troubleshooting of incidents, including joining crisis call and working with teams and vendors for a resolution.
· Deputise team lead if required.

Mandatory Skills:

· At least 3 years proven experience of supporting SCCM infrastructure and Windows OS in large enterprise environment.
· In-depth knowledge in Windows server and desktop OS, WSUS and SQL server.
· Good knowledge of scripting and development e.g. VB script, PowerShell
· Excellent Communication Skills in English (written, oral and listening)
· Must be a team player and capable of working in a team which spans many geographies, time zones and customer bases.
· Be proactive and responsible for the assigned tasks/projects. Should have strong ownership, able to prioritize tasks, sense of vigilance & adherence to all compliance procedures & policies.
· Ability to work under stress to deliver projects and handle critical system incidents.

Optional Skills:
· Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
· Demonstrates a strong desire to continually improve.
· Experience in supporting Adaptiva is much preferable

Relevant Experience:
· At least 3 years relevant SCCM support experience.

Working Hours:
· Regular working days are from Mon to Fri.
· Currently team members average around 50 hours per week.
· A flexible approach to working (shift work, OT work and weekend work may be required occasionally)
· Able to work for EMEA and North America working hours
· Able to provide on call support during weekend based on rota.
