We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Office Planner, Corporate Real Estates .

Principal responsibilities

·
The office planner is the leadership role and primary point of contact with the business on office optimization strategies and execution, specifically current and forward looking optimisation plans which align to the overall Metro Plan.

·
In translating office optimization plans into CRE actions, the role requires the alignment and support of all local CRE functions, primarily Workplace, Estates and Capital Projects but also FM, Health and Safety and Governance and Planning.

·
The job holder also needs to acknowledge that the role operates in a global context as well as locally, building a strong awareness of all businesses and CRE annual objectives and initiatives

Aligning multiple and diverse stakeholder views to lead, shape, develop and deliver effective office optimisation plans

·
Managing strategic and execution activity in a matrix environment

·
Optimising space, location and cost within moving target plans and challenging property markets

·
Developing with global network support effective communication and reporting mechanisms to demonstrate progress and highlight challenges etc.

·
Having strong business and financial acumen to enable sound CRE recommendations or alternatives to business problems.

The role operates in a Country with extensive geographic footprint, complex internal and external environment and large portfolio presence and may include Country CRE total direct cost over US 20m, CRE portfolio of over 200,000 sqf, Retail network of 20 branches or above, Total number of HSBC employees and contingent workers in the country exceeding 2,000, Presence of GSC and HSBC Technology Services in addition to office buildings, branch network and any residential buildings in country, Complex regulatory environment, The role has to interact with senior stakeholders within CRE and in Global Businesses and Functions

Qualifications :

Requirements

· 
Excellent understanding of NWOW principles and office planning strategies

· 
Good ability on interior office planning a plus Sound understanding of key aspects of estate and transaction management

· 
Sound financial and accounting acumen, including analytics and business case knowledge

· 
Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders within a real estate context

· 
Excellent knowledge across different CRE disciplines, particularly the portfolio work stream

· 
Sound understanding of the way in which the Bank works

· 
Strong awareness and understanding of HSBCs internal control and operational risk environment

· 
Experience in successfully implemented various office planning strategies in a country level role including sound execution in workplace change management in the last 12 months

· 
Proven experience to engage senior management in the country level solo

· 
Proven success in customer relationship management

· 
Successful risk management and control processes across multiple functions

· 
Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively

· 
Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage and leverage outsource partners and stakeholders

· 
Strong business, financial and commercial awareness

· 
Ability to undertake options analysis, make sound recommendations and articulate a robust business case

· 
Proven ability to prioritise competing demands, and handle ambiguity
