Assistant Accounting Risk Analysis Manager

Accounting Policy & Regulatory Advisory Department

Hang Seng's Financial Control function works closely with the Bank's stakeholders, including business partners, shareholders, regulators and external examiners. We function as their accountants and business partners in providing comprehensive information on financial management, financial planning, financial reporting and compliance, capital planning and reporting, financial control, tax advisory, insurance finance, and treasury and investment finance.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Accounting Risk Analysis Manager .

Principal responsibilities

· Assist in formulate and update of existing accounting policies and guidelines with regard to updated accounting standards, Group's requirements and initiatives
· Assist in the application and impact assessment of latest accounting standards for financial reporting and disclosures
· Assist the finance functions for implementing the operational risk management initiatives according to Group guidance
· Work closely with businesses and functions for the execution of the stress testing and economic capital assessment across the Bank for regulatory purpose

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  University degree in Accounting or a related discipline, with a recognized professional accounting qualification
·  Minimum of 3 years' experience in banking or auditing gained in international accountancy firm
·  Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and project management skills
·  Good knowledge of computerized accounting system and proficiency in Application Software
·  Proficiency in both English and Chinese
