Job Description:

   

Responsibilities:

·  Provides support of the monthly operational budget to the Server Engineering teams.
·  Subject matter expert with an in depth understanding of the overall budget and use key Excel based tools to be able to characterize and analyze the budget activities
·  Awareness of the OPEX structure and process as well as strong command of Excel tools and analytical and communication skills
·  Works closely with the Finance team members supporting their understanding of the budget information, influencing their processes and proposals.
·  Influences the budget taxonomy to make the analysis and reporting easier and more accurate
·  Leads the yearly budget planning
·  Ensures requests for Engineering support are appropriately scoped, that funding is clear and properly forecasted
·  Analyzes the Engineering forecast for accuracy and assist teams in making appropriate changes
·  Supports Finance in leading monthly budget reviews with senior leadership team, gain insights
·  Negotiates funding options across businesses and at senior management levels.

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent experience
·  Server hardware development and operations 6 - 10 years experience

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Effective negotiation skills
·  Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
