As members of the Silicon Design Lab (SDL), we are responsible for architecting and designing HPE's high-end, enterprise level computer servers. We are looking for top talent to join our team of computer and electrical engineers in Logic Design and Design Verification roles. These positions are located in Plano and Houston, Texas and also Fort Collins, Colorado.

Our Logic Design engineers are responsible for creating algorithms and writing the RTL (Verilog) which implements chipset architectures. The team consists of engineers with an in-depth knowledge of logic design, computer architecture, and system design practices. This team applies creative thinking to provide high-performance architectures.

Our Design Verification engineers partner with logic design teams to ensure that our server product designs are free from functional defects prior to fabrication. The team consists of engineers with an in-depth knowledge of computer architecture, system design, and software development methodologies. This team's goal is to create design verification models and methods to verify new HPE's computer products.

Requirements:

·  BS, MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
·  Electrical Engineering fundamentals, digital logic, and computer architecture
· 
Knowledge of computer architecture including, cache coherency and multi-processor design, as well as an understanding of software development practices and methodologies.

· 
Utilize knowledge/experience of hardware design, computer architecture, and software development to complement the existing team in ensuring that new HPE computer products are designed and implemented free from functional defects prior to fabrication.

·  1-2 years of experience in RTL design.
·  For Verification positions, 1-2 years of programming experience in design verification work. (including experience in programming data structures, software engineering, and Object Oriented Design {C++, JAVA, or other})
