As part of the HPE Communication and Media Solutions ACI Domain team in the EMEA region, the Telecom Analytics (TA) Solution Architect role is as customer-facing subject matter expert in data management and analytics. The SA acts as trusted advisor in building big data solutions, based on the HPE portfolio, leading the end-to-end presales, architecture and delivery process.

Role & responsibilities
The candidate should develop and deliver solution in Europe in the big data area mainly for Telco customers. He/she must have already some experience in using analytics to address Telco problems (i.e. churn, usage analytics, revenue assurance, fraud, etc). His main responsibility is to develop the overall solution, conduct analysis with customers and deliver the solution to solve/meet customer needs and requirements. He works closely with EMEA delivery, Sales, Product and Support teams to evaluate customer requirements, prepares statements of work, develop and deploys solutions.

•Marketing Optimization, Fraud management and Revenue assurance
•Data warehousing, Big Data, OLAP/reporting/advanced Analytics, Complex Event Processing
•Linux and HP-UX environments
•Oracle, PL/SQL, Web Services development, scripts development, Java, C++
•Open source platforms - Hadoop and related tools(Spark, Hive, Kafka), reporting tools, DB
•Ability to translate technical environment into business valuable Use Cases
•Experience in working with customers; both presales and delivery
•Ability to analyze specific customer requirements
•Ability to design, estimate, present and implement solutions in scope
•Excellent team player
•Fluency in spoken and written English language (mandatory);
Education & experience
•Master's Degree in Computer science or equivalent
•Experience in working in multicultural environment
•Strong technical competence and communication skills
•Demonstrates ownership and assumes responsibility to drive resolution of issues
•Strong customer focus and solution orientation
