HPE in Wroclaw is a Knowledge Center and Financial Center of Excellence with a wide range of services to HPE businesses and stakeholders. Our services portfolio includes high value finance planning, analysis and reporting, F&A, Sales Compensation, Supply Chain, Marketing & Communication and Financial Services. ​

Partners with the business (Client Manager community) and Operations team to ensure correct reporting and revenue recognition of Support Contracts. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, secured revenue) to influence decisions within the business. Supports the forecasting process (monthly, and long term) by analysing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly. Ensures strong business controls.

Key areas of responsibility:

·  Provides financial analysis for a financial function or a business. Specifically around revenue accounting in Operational Services for UK&I.
·  Monitors variances between forecast and actual for UK&I with support from Customer Operations and Client Managers, reporting any significant variances to the OS Finance Lead.
·  Supports the revenue recognition process for Packaged Services and understands the contra revenue impact from commissions paid to the Channel
·  Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making. In particular the successful candidate will be responsible to review deals coming for approval and issuing a Finance Opinion with a Finance risk rating and recommendation to the approvers
·  Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
·  Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
·  Represents finance on cross- functional teams.

Education and Experience Required:

·  First level university degree with a focus in business or economics.
·  Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.

Knowledge and Skills:

·  Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
·  Strong analytical skills.
·  Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
·  Strong communication and influencing skills.
·  Excellent teamwork skills.
·  Good business acumen.
·  Very good English language skills (written and oral)
