JOB DESCRIPTION

A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer, is a technical solution expert with in-depth knowledge in multiple HPE Products and solutions. This individual will specialize in Composable Infrastructure, Storage, Networking and the assembly of these resources into compelling solution level expertise.  An Infrastructure Engineer will frequently be asked to compete against competitor’s solutions, validate customer environments, participate in customer engagements/briefings, and recommend and drive HPE product roadmaps and enhancements.

 Responsibilities:

·  Provide technical expertise to our Worldwide technical selling teams organizations on all aspects of HPE Synergy, frequently utilizing hands-on experience to demonstrate capabilities and industry leading solution level integration. Primary methods are technical presentations, solution consultation, new feature trainings, hands-on demonstrations and contribution to technical white papers for HPE’s customer-facing groups or consumption by key customers and partners. 
·  Work closely with our engineering development teams stay current with emerging HPE technology including Composable Systems, HPE Virtual Connect, HPE Storage solutions and leading industry solution vendor capabilities to evangelize the HPE advantages in system architecture, infrastructure management and orchestration, with an eye to end user use cases and solutions.  
·  Interacting with key customers and stakeholders to understand their business and technical needs and translating these requirements to Product Management in order to shape our future roadmap.
·  Stay current with technology trends and competitive solution offerings in order to assist in competitive bid situations.
·  Partner with World Wide Product Management and Technical Sales teams to create competitive selling advantages.  Key responsibilities include designing and consulting on complex IT solutions and providing IT thought leadership.  You'll develop trust relationships with key decision makers and technical staff.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
·  Minimum 6-10 years experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

·  Extensive experience with HPE’s OS and Hypervisor partners such as MSFT, Red Hat, VMware.
·  Experience and strong capabilities in scripting, and use of REST APIs 
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
·  Operational expertise of hardware and software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
