Responsibilities:
· Resolve Storage Hardware and Software Elevations utilizing established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements under the guidance of PIR-HPC/Mission Critical Engineers
· Resolve High Performance Computing Network/Fabric Elevations utilizing established networking principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements under the guidance of PIR-HPC/Mission Critical Engineers
· Resolve HPC Cluster Elevations utilizing established Operating System and Cluster Manager principles in accordance with provided specifications and requirements under the guidance of PIR-HPC/Mission Critical Engineers
· Prepare and Administer HPC test systems in the PIR-HPC/Mission Critical Laboratories under the guidance of PIR-HPC/Mission Critical Engineers
Education and Experience Required:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with none to two years of work experience
· Experience or understanding of appropriate HPC hardware and software elements including servers, storage, RHEL, SLES and Cluster Management Software.
· Good analytical and problem solving skills.
· Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
· Collaborates with peers.
· Typically partners and interacts with high-level Individual Contributors.
· Support projects requiring multidisciplinary engineering development.
