Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, offers a comprehensive open and standards-based portfolio designed to address a broad range of customer segments, from small & medium businesses, to the largest enterprises with advanced requirements for leading branch, campus LAN and datacenter solutions. We are looking for individuals who are talented, technically inclined and self-motivated to fill the following position for the development of our award-winning Networking Switches and Router products. This position will be physically located in Roseville California.

We are hiring top-tier university students to work on leading networking products. We are looking for students majoring in computer engineering, computer science, or software engineering.  You will learn about our wired product portfolio while working as part of a team to design, implement, test and validate software for our state of the art networking products. Internships are generally full time for the summer, but longer term co-ops may be available for students that wish to take a semester off. Interns will work closely with a mentor for duration of their internship and will meet regularly with their manager in a one on one type of format. 

Requirements

Minimum – 

·  Majoring in computer engineering, computer science or software engineering 
·  Understands fundamentals of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking. 
·  Experience with software development tools and processes 
·  Programming experience in C/C++ 
·  Passion for learning something new and taking on a challenge. 
·  Good communicator (verbal and written) 

 

Desired – 

·   In 3rd or 4th year of university studies
·  Understanding and experience with networking products and challenges.
