Job Description:

This is a challenging and highly skilled position. You are expected to lead investigation on product issues andevaluate and qualify electrical/electronic components/sub-systems for use on our current products working with cross-functional teams across different regions .

Responsibilities

· 
Evaluate and qualify electrical/electronic components/sub-systems for use on our current products. You are required to always in a look-out for process or product enhancements which could achieve cost saving.

· 
Lead root-cause investigation with cross-functional teams to resolve engineering product issues reported by the customers in the field or by production. You are expected to have a multi-dimensional approach to problem solving, work with dynamic field information, recommend and validate solutions and make decision based on balanced business and engineering justifications.

Education and Experience:

· 
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

· 
At least 2-4 years in engineering roles, with design background as an added advantage.

· 
Strong fundamentals in basic electronics engineering with good analytical and problem solving skills.

· 
Good understanding of circuit analysis and component characteristics.

· 
Familiar with product qualification tests

· 
Familiar with lab equipment (e.g. high speed oscilloscope etc.)

· 
Exposure to interface technologies such as SGMII, XAUI, SerDes, USB, I2C.

· 
Self-motivated individual, results oriented and strong follow through skills

· 
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

· 
Must be a team player with ability to participate in a global, cross-functional teams
