Construction safety EHS advisor - 1 year - Contractor

Job description

Your Responsibilities :
Management and assurance robust Permit to work and contractors management processes for the site for projects.
Perform EHS Prevention Plans are in place and in use to ensure external companies operate safely according to GSK and local regulatory requirements in relation with personal, GSK people, visitors and assets, and follow up.
- Risk assessment (working area) and co-activity
- Siteworks EHS contractors management
- Prepare, collaborate and assure all necessary EHS permits are delived
- Regular EHS audits on siteworks
- Daily EHS animation (Siteworks ZAP recording, short talks)
- Setting the std for PTW and contractor according to the site needs, GSK and regulatory standards
- Developing and providing training
- Supervision on field and managing findings with responsibles
- Engagement with contractors workers, manager and safety coordinator
- Lead EHS coordination of Summer and winter Shut downs
- Covering Nyon master plan project needs for EHS
- EHS point of contact for capital projects
- Review and advise for preventive plans for projects implementation and manage co-activity risks
- Point of contact with contractors
- Defining and maintaining KPIs for the activity
- Assure EHS screening process is in place/in use for contractors

Why You?

Basic qualifications:
- 5 years experience construction safety projects.
- Supervising construction works,
- developing safe system of works,
- contractors management on the field.
- French (fluent, fluent in English.

Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge in Swiss regulatory construction safety legislation
- Safe System of works for construction
- Working in heights and lifting activities
