MISSION:

Groupe SEB’s IT department is looking for an architect to be in charge of putting forward ideas for a workstation suitable for the Group’s various business units, as part of a 3-5 year vision. This position will involve describing and managing the path that needs to be taken and adapting it to new usages and technological opportunities, which will come up in France and other countries worldwide.

 

The IT response to developments in Groupe SEB’s business units requires the implementation of solutions, which are increasingly flexible and adapted to the usages of our various populations and provide access to Groupe SEB’s IT system at any time, in any place and from any device, as well as offering the ideal conditions in terms of security and performance.

 

As an Architect, you will be the key contact person for the entire IT department at the heart of this initiative: you will be responsible for putting forward short, medium and long-term solutions in line with company strategy and you will ensure these are integrated in Groupe SEB’s IT system as soon as possible in order to guarantee the coherence of the entire system. You will define deployment roadmaps and support their distribution throughout the Group. You will ensure that operational staff take responsibility for these roadmaps, by guaranteeing service levels that conform with the expectations of the business unit and respect best practices in terms of security.

 

You will adapt the medium to long-term strategy and the value proposition to new Groupe SEB business unit requirements and according to technological developments and opportunities.

 

You will lead and coordinate all the teams involved in the consideration, implementation and operation of these solutions, to ensure that set objectives are achieved as part of the defined strategy.

 

You will guarantee the level of service quality and security supplied in accordance with user expectations (SLA) for an optimum cost.

 

 

 

PROFILE:

You have a degree (Engineering, Masters) in IT or a more general subject (Industry, Commerce, Management etc.) with a specialisation in IT

 

You have solid experience in workstation architecture and the user experience, involving issues linked with infrastructure, virtualisation and access to applications in hybrid environments (On-Premise, Cloud, SaaS).

You have acquired this experience within an international group in the context of populations that can operate just as well in an industrial environment as in retail networks, and you are family with security issues and the potential responses to these concerns.

You have at least 10 years’ experience and you have already worked your way up a large IT department.

 

You are independent and able to think ahead and have organisational ability, discipline and a methodical approach. Excellent communication skills and an appreciation of working in a collaborative way as part of a team are essential to succeed in this position.

Your knowledge of English is fluent

Some occasional travel will be necessary.
