About the Position

Accountable for the integrity of project data and information. Maintain and update all project information within multiple IT systems. Provide operation and tactical support to Supplier Qualification Project Leaders and the Supplier Qualification Manager. Problem solve to ensure project stakeholders are informed and held accountable for project deliverables. Responsible for analyzing and reporting performance metrics to support the needs of Supplier Qualification.

 

Ensure the continuity of Supplier Qualification projects including but not limited to: onboarding new assoicates, updating project plans, schedule meetings, meeting preparation, and tracking deliverable status. Provide recommendations to Project Leaders for broader strategic decisions and ensure projects reach the appropriate stage-gate in a timely manner.

 

Support cross functional project business cases, compile project requirements, assist in the definition of project scope/objectives, and update project plans. In the absence of a Project Leader: facilitate project stage/planning meetings and present projects at gate review. Maintain existing stakeholder relationships globally. Analyze perfomance reports and provide recommendation to Project Lead.

 

Primary Responsibilities

·  Project Development: Support linking Supplier Qualification project plans to Procurement’s business goals and objectives. Assign stakeholder deliverables to align with project scope and timeline. Develop supplier requirements packages by working with global cross functional stakeholders to understand their project requirements. Translate technical terms into industry standard language and dispensing the needed information and updates. Support the formation of cross-functional teams by task scheduling and resource assignment, including members from: Global Procurement, Quality (all regions/all plants), Global Material Science, Metrology (Akron and Lux), Regional Supply Chain (all regions), Product Stewardship, and Supplier QA.
·  Project Execution: Ensures on-time completion of project deliverables. Verifies the completion of requirements and documentation. Update statuses in project dashboards and systems. Inputs initial project plans into system, maintains progress on an ongoing basis to verify completeness and accuracy throughout the project. Assist Supplier Qualification Project Leaders and Supplier Qualification Manager in executing all work related to Supplier Qualification Projects which include but not limited to: problem solving, root cause analysis, conflict resolution and resource management. Completes tasks related to project meetings including but not limited to: scheduling, creating/disseminating agendas, and capturing meeting minutes.
·  Problem Solving & Analysis: Lead problem solving initiatives and root cause analysis when project deliverables are not met on time or when project plans are at risk of going off track. Accountable for data integrity in project systems. Conflict resolution when plant trial slots are changed or unavailable. Timely communication of project status to management and project members, as well as making sure that project members communicate with each other.

 

Required Education and Experience

·  Bachelor's Degree required. BS Business/Finance, Purchasing & Supply Chain Management specialization or Engineering preferred.
·  1-3 years professional experience.
·  Prior experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or related field preferred.

·  Fundamental knowledge of business processes
