The Opportunity

We are looking for Operations Technicians with background in Automation Technicians as well as Electrical and Mechanical .

 

As automation Operations Technician you will have the opportunity to:

·  Start-up an innovative, highly automated tire production plant in collaboration with an international engineering team
·  Participate in production ramp-up by performing daily machine start up, supervision and shut down tasks as well as maintenance tasks
·  Be involved in inspection and diagnostics/troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns, especially the automated control system (hardware and software)
·  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, including maintenance of industrial automation systems (PLCs)
·  Drive to zero equipment breakdown by implementing and updating autonomous maintenance practices, preventative maintenance, spare parts management

As electrical and mechanical Operations Technicians you will have the opportunity to:

·  Operate, monitor and perform the daily maintenance of modern tire production equipment following standard work procedures
·  Develop your skills by learning to operate several different workstations
·  Maintain up-to-date documentation and performance reporting, participate in daily management process and maintenance management activities (scheduling, spare parts management, lubrication etc.)
·  Support the maintenance team by performing daily equipment maintenance activities, monitoring equipment conditions and participating in problem solving and improvement activities/repairs
·  Participate in preventive maintenance activities and break-down repair of automated equipment.
·  Identify and help resolve issues quickly by working with your co-workers

 

 

 

To join Our Team you will need:     

 

·  Bachelor in m echanics/electronics/automation/mechatronics or a technical degree with equivalent experience
·  1 to 3 years of working experience will be considered as an asset
·  Previous experience in maintenance team in a manufacturing facility desired

Skills & Qualifications:

·  Ability to operate both manual and automated industrial machinery
·  Automation profiles: Knowledge and troubleshooting of automation systems/PLCs
·  Ability to troubleshoot / improve mechanical, electrical and automation systems
·  Ability to follow documented procedures
·  Ability to perform multiple tasks or operate multiple equipment within any work day
·  Team player
·  Good problem-solving skills and self-initiative
·  Position requires shift work
·  Basic l evel of English is required
