Generali Italia is currently looking for a Data Analyst Junior professional.

The successful candidate will be in charge of the following tasks:

· Effectively support the Calculation unit teams in all data modelling, analysis and reporting.
· Automate all data extraction from the available dataware-houses in order to support data quality standards.
· Manage in an efficient way the data analysis required to calibrate and feed the calculation engine.
· Locations: could be either in Milan or Rome

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Degree in statistics and/or actuarial sciences, mathematics or physics.

Information technology skills

• Data-warehouse knowledge (issues, performance, terminology, logical structure)

• Be able to design (and possibly implement) procedures to remove / manipulate / verify data from relational databases

• Good level of knowledge of SQL programming language and at least one data modelling environment (R, MATLAB, SAS or SPSS). Knowledge of R will be a plus.

• Basic knowledge of Life Insurance techniques.

• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
