Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for a VIP IT Support Engineer who is highly motivated, energetic, comfortable with technology and a client service professional. As a member of the Premium Team you would be responsible for direct IT support to members of the executive team of GE Additive, this includes: client assets (PC, mobile, etc.), site-wide audio-visual equipment and user experience/interaction. You will also focus on new technology deployment, service delivery management, and customer support
Essential Responsibilities

- Fully own the support experience of all the technologies that the Leadership team uses on a daily basis 

- Focal point for VIP customer interaction and support for all local IT services including client, LAN, wireless, AV, conference room, telepresence, mobile and physical connectivity
- Provide technical support during VIP Events on site 
- Lead current and evolving initiatives and cross-functional projects related to technology and support; being adaptable to change 
- Partner with other IT teams on new technology introduction projects to ensure the campus is prepared to deploy and support the new solution 
- Ensure all business policies and standards related to client services, IT security and compliance are being met 
- Partner and develop strong ties with teams within the organization to eliminate the silo approach and develop synergies to achieve the organization’s mission 
- Anticipate, identify and resolve problems, applying knowledge in complex, difficult or stressful situations 
- Communicate technical information to audiences at all levels of the organization

Qualifications/Requirements

- Strong experience with client (PC) technologies and support services 
- Strong with supporting VIP Clients and Corporate Executives 
- Ability to manage time effectively and be flexible, set priorities appropriately, operate with minimal supervision, and maintain professional behaviour under stress 
- Strong work ethic & desire to learn 
- Effective communication and customer service skills 
- Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
- Ability to deliver results in a rapidly changing dynamic environment 
- Ability to manage multiple projects / priorities simultaneously 
- Proven leadership and ability to adapt responsibilities based upon strategic business needs
- Fluent in English and German

Desired Characteristics

- Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies 
- Working knowledge of varied presentation tools (audio / video, Telepresence) and methods
- Degree or formal education in Computer Science/Computing or similar field
